Personal Experience
Matthew Herring, MD is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in orthopaedic trauma. He has advanced training in the surgical and non-surgical management of complex fractures, nonunions and malunions, infections, the multiply injured patient, periprosthetic fractures, and fractures of the acetabulum and pelvis.
Dr. Herring graduated with honors from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and the University of Colorado, School of Medicine. He then completed an internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After graduation, he went on to complete an additional year of fellowship training specializing in orthopaedic trauma at the University of California, San Francisco.
