Personal Experience
Gary Hartland is a California native who graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in 1995. He began his career in the Prompt Care Department at Mercy Medical Center, and quickly transferred into General Orthopedics, including trauma, adult reconstruction, and pediatric care, at Shasta Orthopedics.
In 1997, Gary began working with Dr. Aaron Osborne in Orthopedic Trauma, and has maintained this position ever since. Gary is board-certified physician associate and a proud member of Epic Orthopedics and Mercy Medical Center. He is currently the most senior mid-level provider at Mercy, with 26 years of experience.
